Strong team for this , we want to win the quadruple .
Clearly you have not been watching our players closely lately. They were dead on their feet in the last 20 mins against the bar codes, palace and watford. % or 6 need a full weeks rest if that means no quadruple then so be it. We are not machines!!

100% correct. This team deserves a shot at an unprecedented trophy haul. To meekly chuck the FA cup away on the basis we're afraid we can't wrap the league up from a 15 point head start shows a lack of nerve unbecoming of us in my opinion. We could rest players against Burnley, field a strongest 11 against Liverpool and still drop points so we don't even know it'd be worth while.

Bollocks to Liverpool. We have enough games left against mediocre opposition to win the league at a canter. Putting a league game against them above progressing in a prestigious trophy shows miles too much respect to Liverpool in my opinion.
We could field our best 11 against Burnley and get beaten and have players injured as well or we could beat them with 5 or 6 kids. Some players need a rest end of story.

100% this

2-0 would be good,4-0 would be better, then the second leg's a formality. Aston Villa (FFS) put five past them last week. Bristol are exactly the kind of side who will tire as better teams have tired in the last 20 minutes after being passed to death, so i expect a big win and by then we'll be awaiting Derby at home in the next round of the Cup.
Didn't see any of the Villa/Bristol game but thier keeper had a red v Wolves and the replacement in that game made Paddy Roache look like Eddie.

However I think Pep be playing 2 semi weakened sides with rotation in both these cup ties. Personally I'd play a full side v Bristol and a Leicester LC quarter final team against Burnley.

-----------------Bravo----------------
Danilo--Tosin--Mangala--Zinchenko
---------------Yaya--------------
------Gundogan-----Fodan----
Bernado------Nmecha--------Diaz

Walker, Otamendi, Dinho, De Bruyne all need rests.

Would be good to see Nmecha start at striker to see if he could be an option for us going forward.

Stones, Kompany and Delph all not worth risking with their recent injuries.

Silva will be away again with personal reasons keeping him out.

Sterling and Sane to come off the bench if we need them.

Our best 11 is far less likely to lose to Burnley at home than it is away to liverpool (in a game that matters less) My point is, some people are saying rest them so they can play against liverpool. Players could get injured against liverpool just as easily as they could against burnley so what's the point in the long run if it means throwing a cup away? Also, the chances of us beating a first string Burnley with 5 or 6 kids in the team are pretty slim. Rest them against Liverpool if they need it.
