Get this game dominated early and score 1 or 2 early then close the game out by passing them to death.
If we underestimate Burnley by ‘resting/playing weakens team’ then I think we might regret it.
Come on City.

Because they’ve already had lots of minutes in their legs and thus the risk of injury is far higher right now.

As I mentioned yesterday, 46% rise across the league from November to December in soft muscle injuries.
Oh yeah, did think about that. Makes sense.

vs Burnley:

Bravo
Danilo Stones Otamendi Delph
Fernandinho
Bernardo De Bruyne
Sterling Aguero Zinchenko

Solid in defense, enough in attack to get us over the line.

vs Bristol City

Bravo
Walker Kompany Mangala Danilo
Fernandinho
Gundogan Silva
Bernardo Aguero Sané

Sacrifice some of our better defenders in return for a potential goalfest to end the tie early and hopefully leave us rested for Liverpool.

Bravo
Danilo
Mangala
Vinny
Zinkechecko
Yaya
Bernardo
Gundogan
Sterling
Sane
Aguero

Job done.

That team would win

Aguero has already had a lot of minutes over Christmas, another 2 games in 3 and a bit days is just a silly risk with our only senior fit striker. Rather see Nmecha.

It's easy to say that but is Nmecha ready? He's not played very much at all in the first team.

He'll never be ready if we can't play him in cup games, also was great against Leicester and looks to have finished growing and developing physically now.

PEP: Sean Dyche deserves a lot of credit. What he has done so far is amazing. It's a tough road for us tomorrow and in the #FACup but we want to keep going in that competition as well

PEP: The schedule is what it is. The doctors and physios say that the body cannot recover in less than three days at this level of competition. So that is what my comment was about.
