Burnley (H) - FA Cup Quarter Final | Post Match thread

I thought Burnley played some good stuff for the first 30 minutes..but the way they tried to press us was always going to tire them.
They were unbeaten in 18 games so they aren't a bad team but the gulf in class was immense.
Haaland is just a fucking machine..
Phil was very good as was Alvarez and Ginger Kev
Nice to see Vinnie get a fantastic reception from the fans...Vinnie Kompany once a blue Always a blue

Can't stand international football, wish we could just bin it off. Games are shit, tournaments for the most part are shit, players get dogs abuse from the press and fans, travel all over Europe to listen to Gareth fucking Southgate tell players what to do and there's the chance of major injuries.
Look at what that stupid fucking World Cup did to our season. It took us right out of our stride and we took ages to get going again after it.

We were good from August to October but as soon as the WC was on the horizon, players were pulling out of challenges and not playing at 100% (Brentford at home the game before the WC was a disgrace of a performance all because of that fucking WC).

And we had posters on here saying stuff like, ‘oh what a great World Cup this is, brilliant, really enjoyable!’… fuck off, that WC can get in the bin, it ruined our Winter!

We are back to just playing well again.

Yes we have won many games earlier in the season, but sometimes not very convincingly, we needed performances back on the menu, the wins will come as a result of that.
Agreed, which is why this international break is a pain in the arse.
