Is this right?
I think he needs consecutive bookings for a ban...and he's not had that.

From Google....As of the 2019/20 season, yellow cards in domestic competitions only count for the specific competition they were awarded in. If a player received yellow cards in two consecutive FA Cup matches then they would miss their sides next FA Cup match but the ban would not apply to the EFL Cup or Premier League.

Reading a few comments, this might be an unpopular opinion. Phillips has to play, I don't care if we dont play for along time after. He needs minutes, especially given we have such a hard cl run. Rodri cant play all the games and Phillips surely will have to start some of the games in that build up. Southampton and Leicester in between Bayern would be ideal to rest Rodri.
For a 45m signing and an England player his minutes this year have been far to low (i know he has been injured but still). He surely has to trust him to start on Saturday.

Kompany has the same dilemma City have re. Burnley's choice of goalkeeper, whether to stick with Muric for his passing and distribution or play the lad who's been in goal for their previous Cup games and is a better shot-stopper.

Maybe he should play both?

I'm quoting myself but I think Bernie is good to play.

Im hoping he gets plenty of minutes for England too

Love Vinny but no time for sentiment, wembley calls!

Plus don't forget these were one of the clubs signing the Arsenal headed paper to get us sentences before the trial on ffp, regardless of whether they since apologised. An opportunity to put that right.

Think we'll see Ortega, maybe Lewis, but otherwise I can see it will be a very familiar staring eleven unless there are aftereffects from Leipzig. You don't mess about with things too much when a final is so close.
