I’m pleased he’s fully rotating and treating these games as warm ups for the cup games. I suggested he could rotate the entire back 4 straight after the arsenal game but didn’t think he would. Very weird he’s gone with either Foden or Bernardo on the left backed up by zinchenko though, that’s not a lot of width down that side, expect a large section of our attacking threat to come from the right. Would have made sense to give mendy a second game and allow him to push forward in this.
