What's actually happened to the full backs tucking into midfield which Pep used to great effect at the start of the season? He seems to have binned this tactic for some reason which I can't really understand???

Is giving Tosin some EPL experience a better option than persevering with Kolarov?
And why have we sent out young fullbacks out on loan? Is that a ploy by Pep to put pressure on buying fullbacks in this window?

The manager obviously believes Kolorov is a better bet at present. As I have said before I don't expect too many of our Academy to make
it into the match day selections on a regular basis now or in the future maybe 1 every other season at most.

The opposition sussed out very quickly how to deal with it which is basically to get players and ball quickly into the spaces vacated by the full backs and put us under pressure

3-5-2 is okay as long as Kolarov isn't one of those 3. Kompany aside, we basically have 2 centre backs so it's always likely he will feature be it 3 or 4.

If Kompany was fit I'd feel much more confident with him alongside John and Otamendi. Use Sane and Sterling as wing backs. Silva/De Bruyne/ Fernandinho centrally with Sergio and Gabriel up top.

That for me will be our strongest formation/team but Kompany and persistent injuries just fuck the entire thing over.

We desperately need a CB and 2 new full backs.

It's absolutely criminal we went in to the season with only two centre backs and let Mangala go.

Yes BH,but this is City....there are always more questions than answers.

If we had kicked on & backed Bobby after 93-20 we'd probably have won 2 more Championships,2 more FACs & be genuinely dominating the English game & be right alongside Barca,Franco FC & Munchen.

So Burnley haven't win away this season in the league. THIS is their chance to break that trend. We are having a serious crisis at the moment. We cannot defend, our attacking is slow and not direct, we are always looking to 'walk' the ball into the goal etc etc.
These are supposed to be PROFESSIONALS!! We have a decent squad(although ageing) and SHOULD be able to at least look like they're trying to win the game and not like it's a training match.
Our keeper & defence are almost comical at times, when I fear every attack will result in a goal. Why was Bravo bought?IMO he's not proved how good he actually is!! I'm really hoping that there will be some serious transfer window action by us, to bring in at least 2 defenders.
Kolarov should never be allowed to put on a first team shirt again, unless there is absolutely no one else available,that includes trainees.

Too many mentally weak players who give up when the going gets tough. Soon as Liverpool scored on Saturday it was game over, they knew it, we all knew it.
They need to update their efforts 90%.

This incredible squad is a joke - We have 4 average at best full backs - central defenders playing like a pub team - The only players who would consistently challenge for places at other top 4 teams are KDB, Aguero, Sterling and fernandinho (possibly Sane but who knows as pep doesn't want to start him)

Would love Gabriel Jesus to play, the supporters badly need something to cheer us up after a dismal trip to Liverpool

I don't believe for a second we can win the league but we need to fight for top 4, take each game one at a time and get the 3 points

We really need some huge signings in this transfer window if we are to build the squad and play the tactics that Pep wants

Can you just tell me if we win this, will it be four wins in five games? 2.4 points per game. We'd win the league if we did that all season as a rule.
