Burnley (h) pre-match thread

Watched Ben Mee and their other defender with the name I can't spell on the Premier League show and they both said they are going "to rough them up a bit and see if they like it."

Clear instructions from Dyche to leave something on us this weekend...
 
Their results to date are based on resolute defending. They will be able to offer nothing going forward and subsequently will be unable to resist our attack for 90 minutes. 3,4 or 5 nil is my prediction, and that is not over confidence but rather application of basic intelligence.

It certainly is a game for Aguero to start as he is physically stronger than Jesus and was superb carrying the line last season when we won with just 10 men. If he does start tomorrow I believe it will be the day he breaks the record.
 
They will try and keep the ball in the air and muscle us out when it's on the ground,vain hope but the ref needs to be strong
I think this will be a difficult game ,i would take a 1-0 and no injuries
 
Tough team to beat Burnley hopefully we can get an early goal again to settle us down and another good win. Burnley are 20/1 to win this game crazy.
 
Taking the Chelsea game out of the equation for a moment as they played most of the game with 10 men and some with 9 yet still managed to score 2 against Burnley, the key to beating them is to be able to score twice. I'd be amazed if we don't find the net 2 times. So it might have a few ups and downs during the game but the result shouldn't be in doubt
 
CIty’s achilles heel last season wasn’t so much breaking teams down, as not being clinical enough, when offered the opportunity, and gradually allowing the opposition to gain a foothold. (Boro being the most obvious)

This season has been far better, but we can’t afford any complacency or sloppiness, because Burnley will sense it.
 
Kind of human nature I suppose, but the more City win, the more the certainty they must be about to lose.

Arsenal fans in 2003/4 must have been in a state of panic every week.
