Is it just me being paranoid but his answers to questions about Vinny the last few conferences are not very convincing - he always just says he is not ready, doesn't elaborate on what the injury is, what the timescale for recovery is, where he is up to in his recovery even nothing about looking forward to his return

He just closes the question down completely

Is there something else going on?

He doesn't know the answer and is probably bored with the same question

I cracked a rib when hit with a ball playing cricket and I was still in agony just doing routine stuff like turning over in bed about 2 or 3 months later. He must be having an injection to totally numb the area otherwise I just don't see how he'd be able to play at all.

Did exactly the same! Bloody agony for ages. Wasn't even an especially quick bowler which was annoying given being hit is an occupational hazard.

Didn't help that before it had healed I got pissed at a party, fell in the water feature and broke my toe.

He does seem to be abrupt but when you are faced with as many snakes as he does on a weekly basis, then fcuk em.

Folk here far too quick to write off a dogged Burnley team.

Be happy with a 1 or 2 nil win, and be amazed by anything higher than that.

This is a good test, especially considering how exhausted some players were vs Napoli.

bluemurray. I would happily settle for another boring 30 1-0 nil wins as that will mean we would be champions. Don't know what other city fans think, but that would make me very contented.
Yes I would like us to go and play for the rest of the season the way we have been over the 1st 8 games, however I would take a lot of ugly 1-0 wins., if that would make me us champions

Yes, ridiculous in a two horse race. Even discounting that they might win anyway, you've only got to have a City red card and that's more frequent than 1 1/2 times a season.
