I hate when we play this lot. Shite anti-football with 11 men sat in their own box the whole game. Every season I hope they drop to the Championship where they belong and every season they manage to shithouse enough points to survive.

I do think, unlike you , and my statement is perfectly correct. There's no point in investing money in players if a team that hasn't invested 10% of what you have , over the course of years , comes and takes your points away at home.
It's not science ...but apparently for you it's too difficult to understand.

All I've said , if you read my comments, was that we SHOULD win no matter what players are missing. As our bench still holds more value than their starting 11.
Apparently this statement triggers some people , which is odd as I don't see a flaw in it. Why spend so much money having a valuable bench if you don't expect the players on that bench to preform against Burnley.

It’s not that people/blues are scared of Burnley, were all scared of the jinx that pops up every now and then at this club in certain games, I’m never confident about beating any team, until I see the goals flying in.

So being a lifelong City supporter, its not easy to get rid of the "typical City", syndrome. Still as we are aiming to win every trophy, we need a big squad. However, I don't think anyone is sacred of Burnley at home, if we play the right team.

See , this is the part I dont agree with. We should beat them with a team thats not our best 11. Its conflicting with Pep's effort to build a squad where you can rotate players and still get results.

Look if football was as simple as we have the best team and manager, we’ve spent more money than our opponents, I would put £500 on a football bet every month and buy a house in Barbados at the end of the season. Things happen on a football pitch, players get sent off, penalties conceded, teams can’t score etc like I said I’m only confident when I see the goals scored, end of.
