Are we allowed to talk about Sterling in this thread or is it a taboo subject for whatever reason?

It is like North Korea on here atm, I came home from work and thought I wonder what has been said about him saying he wanted more game time or he is off etc and his thread is locked last post yesterday, couldn't see another one anywhere.

Just seems odd that we are not allowed to talk about it tbh.

I was in his camp for the last two seasons but if he has laid down a demand he can FO for me, play better and you will get your spot back.

PS on the right is where I'd play him as well btw

He wants a new contract, why wouldn't he put the feelers out & use other clubs to get what he wants, other clubs & players use us to do exactly the same.

Who said he couldn't do that?

I said he can fuck off if he is putting in demands, I support City, not a random player, if a player is pissing my club about then he can fuck off.

The player, however, is entitled to do what he pleases and thinks is best for him.

I am also of the opinion that he hasn't played well enough to have his contract increased to 300k+ a week, if he was playing like 2018 Sterling then absolutely no problem at all but unfortunately after nearly 2 seasons of defending him, I think he needs to show up on the pitch and not make demands about playing time.

Yes mate … A few good ones here by the harbour, Marina and in the back streets just behind, best to google em for addresses and a look at the food they do.. We eat right across the board, Spanish traditional, Italian, Asian etc.

And this is why I tried staying out of the Sterling bashing. Has he actually made any demands, all I've seen is he wants assurances about his role. Is that any different to people slating Harry Kane for signing a 6 year contract without a get out clause.

I have no idea, I have zero interest in Harry Kane tbh.

I haven't seen anything much about what he said bar on R4 news, hence me asking in my first post about where the talk about him was.

A player wanting assurances on playing time is pretty much a demand though, don't you think?

As for bashing him, I have spent two years defending him in his own thread, no basher here Foggy.

A bang in form Sterling would be a great asset but let's be honest he hasn't been bang in form for a little while.
