Burnley - Post Match Thread

Sterling has copped it pretty bad. Boo'd pre season down here in Oz when he first signed for City and his treatment from fans of other clubs baffles me. Why all the hate? Can understand him copping it from the red scouse, but not anyone else. At least he got them a very tidy profit. Not like James Milner who let his contract run down to pocket the sign on bonus from Liverpool...but he joined them to play central midfield. That's working out well for him.
 
It's the dipper loving media who hate all things City whipping them up into a frenzy. As they are all brain dead morons they believe everything the scum write. I see they are after Stones now, shock horror a single lad of 22 fancies another fit young woman and cheats on his girlfriend. Wankers.
 
But didn't the Sterling booing started only in the second half? What the fuck happened suddenly to the home fans? If they needed an hour to realize he is on the field, then I'm afraid they are even more incapable of not letting their countries down.

Also, I thought that part of the anti-Sterling agenda is that he is just an immigrant from Jamaica who obviously cares only about money, but this doesn't fit in with the theory of him letting down any country, as the presumption is that he is just a soulless moneywhore. Or maybe he did let down Jamaica after all. Then again, why would be Burnley fans interested in Jamaica?

So many open questions....

because most people are sheep, the rag and scouse media thought it was in their best interests to try and destroy the career and life of a 21 year old to satisfy that part of their readership that are absolute ****s
 
The full photograph of the one posted on Facebook is even more disturbing. In this world, unfortunately we have to accept the abuse given by fans to opposition players, and the players have to accept it too. In this photo you have kids as young as 5 or 6 giving the finger and no doubt verbals. I am assuming the lady smiling is the mother of the kid in the Burnley hat looking at the kids to his left. It seems as though he is wondering what on earth they are doing. No doubt that kid will have been tarnished by the incident in some way.

In the photo above you have got to ask where are the parents. this should be sent to Burnley football club and asking them what they are going to do about the obscene gestures made by their young Burnley fans in the picture. If they can get away with it now what is going to happen when they get older, they will think that there will be no consequences no matter how bad their behaviour is. It is high time that all clubs start clamping down on these obscene gestures and foul language by fans no matter how old or young the fans maybe. They should be banned for the remainder of the season from both all home and away games.
 
The picture is a disgrace, shows why atmosphere and overall reason to watch football is going downhill. A PERCENTAGE of fans would rather slag off players of the opposition than sing the names of their own players. The burnley fans were more vocal to have a go at sterling than sing to encourage any player. You have the kids copying the adults, we work off negativity. Be good to do a "where are they now" in 20 years time on the 3 boys at the front.
 
Haha, 'obscene gestures'! It's a few lads sticking their fingers up. Their treatment of Sterling was pretty disgusting, but this happens at every game all over the country, every week. Nothing new.
