Burnley - Post match thread

What was I saying? I said pep underestimated the game and Klopp didn't. Looking at both teams team selection was I wrong?

Armaan, you constantly harp on about Klopp and Liverpool.

Im not saying you're not a Blue, im just telling you what everyone sees on here.

From the BBC

He has been asked if it was a mistake not to start with Sergio Aguero and David Silva.

"Sure it was a big mistake, you are right."

But you made the change...

"Yes. I am intelligent."

Hahahaha
Awesome.

Yes. Look at both teams results.

44 hours between games. Recovery times. Knowing how much your players can give etc.

You were wrong and so was Klopp.

Thought kolarov was superb today mate and has been on several occasions at CB
Is he the answer? Do we keep clean sheets often, ak blows hot and cold today was a decent day but we still were left biting our nails. We are flaky at the back until this ends we can forget about frightening teams. Cos unlike Chelsea and the scum of old, teams go/went there with fear they play us thinking if we nick a goal who knows, we need to be bully's at the back as much as we need to strike fear at the front. I have no doubt when the game comes and oppo defenders are like oh fuck kdb, kun, raheem, silva, oh sweet god how we deal with that? They are content knowing we have a soft underbelly and are likely to ship a goal. We need a leader

Unbelievable goal by Kun. The two players on the line had no idea what had happened. I really hope this game fires the team up for the rest of the season. The passion in the second half was what we need in every game.

Bang on. He fucking loves those scouse twats. I saw his comical rantings at half time too.

Thank God nobody got hurt (even though we should wait for the medical report?). Once again, wrestling rules in a City match. Mason and his assistants did their best, message is they'll have to try harder; good effort though...

They don't want us. Period. We might as well get used to it.

Congratulations to the team for the victory. Beat Burnley + officials. Manager and players should prepare to face similar situations in the future. They will definiteley occur again.
It's a full stop dear boy, this is not Merka

Peps interview on sky. Fucking hilarious. If you didn't see it please don't ask me to describe it. All I can say is he spoke how most of us feel

Big, big win under the circumstances. Up there with Barca and Arsenal.

The much maligned Kolorov manned up and did well as did Yaya, especially in the second half - good dicipline.

Well done - good three points.

We're nowhere near as bad as we were made out to be after Anfield and nowhere near as good as we were made out to be in September. We're a decent team with a few holes which has an excellent manager.
