Disappointing result for Vinnie. They're playing nicer stuff now than they did under the ginger Mourinho but, as most have said, they look pretty toothless up front. The Watford keeper wasn't overly busy last night. Someone like Delap on loan would be a very good acquisition for them.

Watching their game from 50 minutes onwards.
Very easy on the eye, most unBurnleylike, but as previously said, toothless up front.
Still 10 minutes, though

Definitely need a striker. Absolutely dominating with chances, passes and possession in all the games so far. Just need someone to put the chances away and they’d be 4 from 4 instead of 1 win, 1 loss and 2 draws.

Delap could definitely be the answer.

Watched bits of this game last night the domination possession wise was remarkable! Kompany making a big difference in such a short time shows me he is a very good manager! The team though is desperate for a striker up top…

Not caught any of it but nearly 80% possession in a Championship game must be almost unheard of. As you and others have said, they need a bit more bite up front to start turning some of those draws into wins. It's early days yet though and it may all start to come together for Vinny soon.
