Burnley have just taking the lead from a superb free kick.

What I have noticed watching Burnley this season is the players all have the utmost respect for Vincent Kompany. He's doing a fine job there.

There just isn't the talent in that squad going forward for him to impress on the world stage.

If he gets promoted with Burnley this season, keeps them up in the Premier League next season playing an attractive style of football we have not been accustomed to with Burnley and he will have proved himself to many a suitor that he is a capable manager in a top league.

Where he goes from there remains to be seen, but that above should be his target over the next 18 months.

Interesting to see Cork's reaction to the decision to award the free kick. He seemed to be gesturing that he didn't think it was a free kick.

Yeah looked like he was apologising made worse by them scoring from the freekick..
