Burnt lawn after weed n feed

Put down slabs or gravel. Unless you have a perfect position (no trees shading etc) lawns are not worth the bloody effort. I put a great deal of effort for years and have now given up. Wild meadows look nice.
Its not a big enough garden. Its 20m2. It gets loads of sun, not a lot of shade. I had it looking thick n lush n green before i fucked up with the weed n feed, never again!!!

I like looking after it so its not a waste of effort really

My lawn is full of burnt patches caused by dog piss.

Interestingly the edges of the patches tend to grow well and the burn only in the middle. Clearly their is some nutrient value in dog piss but the general concentration is too high.

Our bitch used to ruin our lawn. At least she pissed in the same place. But now, months after she passed the lawn is recovering.
This time next year it will be fine.

Bitches do leave a right mess on lawns, burnt circles everywhere.

glabal warming !!!!! ill get local council to tax you for damage caused then shop you for using hose pipe theres a water shortage

No hosepipe ban here!!

Anyway, ill stop using water when the ‘water board’ stop losing millions of gallons of water every day because of leaky pipes ;)

Dog wee is full of nutrients, however when a female dog pees, it pees in one spot so burns the grass
You have to watch the Dog, have a watering can in hand, and immediately after the Dog moves water the lawn where it's peed
And then what you end up with is dark patches of lovely grass

As the title says, ive buggered up my beautiful lawn by applying weed n feed and generally making a mess

Its only a small lawn, 20m2 , and this year i went to town on it getting it lush n thick

Ariated in spring, applying feed every 6 weeks, watered when no rain, trimming it twice a week. It looked amazing.

Just had 2 weeks away and no care and very weedy (from next door) so got some weed n feed.
Anyway, i ballsed up the application and now 50% is black! Grass looks ruined in those patches , black and dey

Is it dead as a dodo and those areas need digging out, soiling and re seeding ? Or is there another less painful way ?
I have a contact at the manufacturer and asked them. Response as follows:

'what a ****. Can't believe he did it in this weather and didn't water it in'

OK I live in Bournemouth, so probably not best-placed to advise on lawn care in Manchester. Our lawn hasn’t been green since early June, when it got its second mow of the year. Now it is just brown straw-like, we have had about 30mm of rain since May, and none so far this month. My advice is to avoid any lawn care until there is a balance between wet and sunny days in normal temperatures.

cut it as short as possible
scarify it, get all the dead stuff up
aerate it
put some grass seed on it
whack some compost over the top and water the fuck out of it,
however i would suggest not doing it in summer, spring or autumn, not when its fuxxing boiling, get that lot done in autumn and come spring it will look decent
