I thought both teams were professional. Burton could have tried to kick us off the park but didn’t, came to try and play football and credit to them for that.Taking the piss is excessive showboating, doing keepy uppys in the corner, trying nutmegs in your own box. That would have been disrespectful to Burton - deliberately trying to embarrass them. I imagine as professionals they would have found that much more hard to take. We did none of that. We were professional and took our chances - nothing wrong with that at all.

Laughable anybody would genuinely believe it's disrespectful not to ease up. How is it disrespectful to basically stop playijg because youre sosuperior to the opposition that you dont have to bother for half the game? If anything surely thats disrespectful to not give them the full rrspect of playing until the end?
In all honestly we didn't get out of first gear so couldnt really ease up anymore than the intensity we were playing at anyway. Footballs about entertaining, we often see games out to manage energy levels so it was nice to see our second string play until the end.
Despite winning 9-0 wouldn't say anybody was sensational, we were a bit arrogant at 1-0 and tried to be too fancy attimes but as soon as the second goal went in we got back to basics and became ruthless. Expect numerous debutants in the return leg, no reason to play anybody from the first time that doesn't need game time. Send the EDS squad plus the likes of Muric, Zinchenko, garcia, foden and possibly one or two more maximum.

Good for Garcia and Foden to get some game time, and for KdB and Merlin to continue their return to full fitness.
It was brilliant to see us score nine goals, and 16 in four days.
