No. Nobody was suggesting that. Fifteen minutes or half an hour wouldn't be a big deal, though.
Is fifteen minutes or half an hour going to make a material difference in terms of getting their supporters there for a decent part of the game? If so fair enough but unfortunately it doesn't look like that.

Yes, just heard, 2 hour delay. Can't delay kickoff by 2 hours though can they?
Wouldn’t need to. I don’t know of anyone that plans to arrive at an away game bang on kick off, with not a minute to spare. The fans just lose their eating, drinking and general milling about time. A delayed kick off of 30 minutes would be fair and reasonable.

True, but over the season he hasn't done that much.

His biggest problem is the other players in our squad, he is possibly our most inconsistent midfielder and so everyone wants other player to start instead of him. The reality is that he would walk into pretty much every PL teams starting 11.
I am sure the Rags would love him and he would have offered more for the Red dippers that the three they played against us last Thursday.

Always thought it was an absolute joke how long it takes to clear an accident on the main arteries of the nations infrastructure.

Film the scene, take care of the victims, clear the mess, get moving again.

Fucking health and safety and insurance company lawsuits grinding England to a halt! If you were a terrorist, you could shutdown the entire road network for days with half a dozen car bombs!

It gives the fans a better chance of making it (to the tune of thirty minutes) and doesn't change the players' preparation much. As others have said, delaying the kick-off to 8.15 wouldn't be a big issue.

Looking at the BBC feed on it that might not be much good to the Burton fans though, if it means they get there for even half time then fair enough, but if they delay it by half an hour and the Burton fans still don't get there then what's the point?
