I am shitting it. We provide care to people in the community mainly older folks with dementia or long term conditions. Obviously scared that many of them will be affected but also carers going off sick or to look after their kids if schools shut etc.
This is interesting.
My in-law's gov run care home has just cleared out its residents to prepare for the outbreak.
Apparently she's refused to work there, if it's full of infected patients.
I can see this being an issue.
I live in a tourism area, we've already lost thousands of Chinese tourists.
This is having a massive effect on restaurants, tour companies etc.
There's two helicopters next to the beach taking tourists for a short flight, they've stopped flying, no customers I guess.
Have been mentioning on a few occasions, that it would be beneficial to have a test that doesn't just tell you if you have or don't have it, but actually tells you that you have HAD it. It would allow people like yourself and me in my situation to plan and contribute better. I'm convinced I've had it and so has the better half. But we don't fall into the criteria that has been set by the medical profession. It's really frustrating as we are chomping at the bit to help, if we are immune.I am shitting it.
