That might be the case, but the club now has a tough challenge of attracting the best British talent. I just hope in the long term we don't have to rely on having to pay above the odds on players like Rodwell and Sinclair who are not going to get a chance of playing in the first team. The club have got to make the academy work, and a big part of that is manager that is fully committed to that ideal. Maybe Vieira is the man who can really make that strategy work when Pellegrini contract expires...
