Am I alone in not being able to navigate a way on the new website to buy tickets for away matches? Previously, I’ve always clicked on the "online ticket office" but this now only seems to have tickets for home matches. I’ve tried navigating through the "tickets and travel" link but then I only get half a screen - the rest is a grey enigma wrapped in a shroud of internet bullshit. Or maybe I’m just a luddite.

only Swansea league game for sale. click on matches

Top line on front page 'Tickets and Hospitality' - click and it will take you directly to the online ticket buying site.

The new site is shite.

I almost missed Swansea also. The new site is too busy and is not focused on those who go to games, especially away games which are no longer promoted on the front pages like they used to be.

It is better than needing voucher J and sending a cheque for "no more than" depending what ticket category they decided to give you then hoping they are sent back.

Seems buying tickets generally is a nightmare having looked on twitter. Seems bizzare that in this day and age we seem so backward in going forward. Not helped either by the decision not to send out paper tickets this season for seasoncard holders who can't make the game. People don't like the uncertainty of heading there without a ticket and queuing for God knows how long to collect tickets so they just don't bother

The site is SHITE and the Club don't care. For Fans wanting to go to away games, the announcements of when tickets go on sale is ALSO poor;when do the tickets for the league cup game on the 21st go on sale? when do the tickets for the Chumps league game on the 28th go on sale? what are the sales criteria?

How the hell are we expected to book any or all of the following; leave, travel, accommodation with confidence? Come on City WE the Supporters who want to follow the team need the information; get the priorities right before posting silly videos and articles.

Need to take a leaf out of Leicester City ticketing ,all 3 champs league away games have been announced with points required etc my brother can now book with confidence of getting tickets. Not that they are happy as they have to pick tickets up in the city they are playing showing there passport just like us.

So it can be done, our lot just don't give a toss about us.

Yes it can be done. I really don't see why the can't publish tkt details in advance for all 3 games. The amount of tickets isn't going to change and fans can make plans well in advance.

Spot on. Way too busy with shite about nothing. Trying way too hard. Would be simple and cost peanuts to have a separate site for tickets and travel only. But hey, that’d make sense.

The idea that "the number of tickets won't change" is a bit of an odd one.
The total won't, but the number that don't end up with sponsors, box holders etc, will vary quite a lot.
I'm expecting quite a few with their fucking microshop bags at the away fixture next Saturday.

The numbers won't change and how would we know anyway how many are made available to 'ordinary' supporters via the ticket web page, Guaranteed multiples of overseas first time visitors next weekend in the away section. The club should come clean on what percentage of away tickets for each game go to sponsors, corporate, the club etc. For matches such as next weekend I would imagine only 50% go via the website.

That's the problem, the numbers (total) don't change but the numbers available to fans with points do, possibly why we don't find out how many points are needed until a couple of weeks before the game because the club wait to see how many of the tickets are wanted by the others.

@squirtyflower posted last season points needed for tickets to go to away games over a couple of years, from memory if you'd been to every game over the year you'd miss out with the same allocation in later years, this can only be more tickets going elsewhere. (I think it was squirty apologies if not)

I got back from the swamp last season disgusted that at least half a block was full of tourists (for want of a better word)

No you're right mate it was me
I've been keeping the records for five years now
Allocation, cost, points started at and points sold out at.
Last year the points needed for a United ticket had increased by 2000 even though the maximum points available between the game the year before had been 1500.
I've rarely missed a game in those five years but didn't have the points for one game last year, although I had mates get tickets for the game with far fewer points than me.

It's going to get worse, now clubs can reduce the away allocation (£30 a ticket) and increase the home allocation (£50+ per ticket) they can increase revenue.

Sorry, missed that bit - supporters club, corporate or Belgian?

In other news the ticket information on the new website is absolutely shite

I was lay in bed on Tuesday wondering about the Swansea tickets so I thought I'd check on sales site.
And there they were, on sale tomorrow

But the fixtures part is even worse
Neither the Academy or MCWFC have any fixtures left in 2016-17
