Buying players that will never play

agreed. i find it funny when City announce the new player without intention to play them.
one of them - Florian Lejeune. proudly announced for a lousy selling profit £1 million.
if City really want to do this, at least do it right.
find the youngster, groom and play them at the 1st team.
increase their value and sell them to Madrid or Barcelona for £60-£100M.
Chelsea sell both KDB and Lukaku (to name a few), for £18M and £28M, respectively.
that is respected figures, for unproven youngsters at that time.

Pretty sure Lejeune was primarily bought to help get Girona promoted, not to make a profit. But do go on knowing more than the City executives.

So it continues, again I think it's time for squad limits. Not just competition limits. Hate all this buying players to make a profit nonsense. We are getting as bad as Chelsea the whole thing stinks to me. What's the point of even announcing a signing who will never play. Pathetic City

Welcome to 2016, I hope you've enjoyed sleeping for the past decade or so. City have to make money anyway they can -- player trading is one possible way to do so. Mooy is the best Ausrtralian NT player right now and is definitely good enough to play for teams in the Premier League. City will probably loan him out for a season and see how he does vs better competition and then go from there.
