BWSL 2022/23 Arsenal vs City 02/04 Match Thread

Its like Southgate replaced Taylor. Abysmal decision making once again. Waits until the 80th min to make a change and tells his team to defend a 1 goal lead

Disappointing loss, could have won this. We need long ball options when we’re struggling to get out from the back. Rasso’s speed may have provided a good target for that if she was allowed more time.

That is a ridiculous refereeing decision, the shot blocked, Houghton hits the rebound which ricochets to Shaw with a tap in, but she stops play for a head injury. Then to top it off, gives Arsenal the ball. WTF?
Till the club starts asking questions and calling official performances out nothing will change but yet again not putting away chances cost us

This ref is always poor & that was a crazy decision to stop the play before the phase had ended - But, we have to face facts we lost that because they made some small adjustments and Taylor didn't react. He seems to second guess everything in the biggest moments. McCabe on a booking and looking as though she was about to lose it had the easiest second half because Kelly refused to run at her. Raso on and twice in 5 minutes nearly created something simply by running at her. The energy of the side went up but it was as is often the case far too late.

Taylor will point to it being a decent season but we could end up with missing out on CL having lost in the league cup and FA cup. Three or four big moments in the season have all been lost in my opinion by having a poor coach. The club must not give him a new contract. Already next year I predict we will lose another 2 or 3 players because the coach will not rotate from his favourites even when they are out of form. TAYLOR OUT!
