Obviously a very appropriate screen name 'Bimbo', as you clearly can't read, ask a grown up to explain what I wrote at the start of this thread.
I have never suggested anything coming close to Tevez being shit, in fact quite the opposite, he is and always will be a great player, one of the best in the world.
Last night he was phenomenal and he certainly made me feel as though what I had written was maybe premature and to some extent silly, however it did emphasise exactly what I intended to get across, if you want Tevez as your main striker you have to concentrate all your efforts in playing to his attributes and accept a one dimensional style of play.
Anyone could settle for the display we saw last night, me included, but though brilliant in every aspect Tevez does still present certain problems that cause disruption at times and stifle some of our other strikers attempts to show their best assets.
It's easy to argue when the two brilliant goals scored last night found the target, that he is irreplaceable, but if they had gone wide or over the bar, some would have re-visited the greed argument and said he should have passed to Yaya or let someone else have a go.
I think Tevez is capable of staying with us and becoming as good an all round player as maybe even Messi, but only if he can regain the judgement and selflessness he clearly demonstrated in his first season with us.
That's all I am saying, not that he is anything but a genius that has become slightly misguided and selfish, all in all he is wonderful talent, but not irreplaceable, as has been argued, though I do agree it would someone absolutely world class to replace him, possibly only Shneider or Messi could fill his boots talent wise.
frankly a load of tripe. he had family issues which affected his form. Carlos is Carlos do not ask him to play any other way than he does.Lordeffingham said:BimboBob said:Hahahahaha...bumped this on purpose.
