Bye Bye Tevez, your number is up.

Number up? Bloody hell...you are right, he's shit.

Obviously a very appropriate screen name 'Bimbo', as you clearly can't read, ask a grown up to explain what I wrote at the start of this thread.

I have never suggested anything coming close to Tevez being shit, in fact quite the opposite, he is and always will be a great player, one of the best in the world.

Last night he was phenomenal and he certainly made me feel as though what I had written was maybe premature and to some extent silly, however it did emphasise exactly what I intended to get across, if you want Tevez as your main striker you have to concentrate all your efforts in playing to his attributes and accept a one dimensional style of play.

Anyone could settle for the display we saw last night, me included, but though brilliant in every aspect Tevez does still present certain problems that cause disruption at times and stifle some of our other strikers attempts to show their best assets.

It's easy to argue when the two brilliant goals scored last night found the target, that he is irreplaceable, but if they had gone wide or over the bar, some would have re-visited the greed argument and said he should have passed to Yaya or let someone else have a go.

I think Tevez is capable of staying with us and becoming as good an all round player as maybe even Messi, but only if he can regain the judgement and selflessness he clearly demonstrated in his first season with us.

That's all I am saying, not that he is anything but a genius that has become slightly misguided and selfish, all in all he is wonderful talent, but not irreplaceable, as has been argued, though I do agree it would someone absolutely world class to replace him, possibly only Shneider or Messi could fill his boots talent wise.

unless he really really wants to stay and is willing to keep giving 110% every week he should go.

He's wanted to go all year and still gives "110%" - he can't help himself from playing that way - City just have to lube up and take another financial roasting from him and the greedy parasites around him - need him at least one more season - then Balo and hopefully Dzeko will be ready (and whoever we sign).

Sneijder* isn't fit to clean Carlos' boots.

frankly a load of tripe. he had family issues which affected his form. Carlos is Carlos do not ask him to play any other way than he does.
if the management dont like the way he plays sell him.
he has nothing to regain, he lost his way slightly due to a transfer request and family issues end of.
i hope he stays and plays exactly as he does, the greater issue for me is who gets the other twenty goals along side him, which are well short of at present.

I think you got it wrong Lord E. Easy to say now after the event!

Strikers need to be selfish in the box, but so much of Tevez's work is done deep. As forwards go I don't think you will find many players who do more for the team. If only Silva would learn to be a bit more selfish when he's one on one with the keeper. Maybe then we would have the complete midfielder as well as the complete forward in Carlos Tevez

His form dipped. I think that was down to the sheer number of games he played in the Spring when there was no rest at all.
