Bye Phil Brown

He's a ridiculous, attention-seeking idiot and anyone would be better.

tbh i couldnot give a sh*t about what anybody says about this
but what a job he has done at hull, dragging them from a mediocre, stale team with dean windass in it in the championship into a team that couldd fit in in the premier league if they sorted their form out.
They arent the best team in the league whatsoever, one of the worst, but i cdont care what you say about the man
im talking about what he has done as a manager and i respect him hugely for what he has done for that club, just shows what expectations are around in football at even average teams like hull if they sack him. you can still see the fans are behind him

Won't be sorry to see Phil Brown go, think he is a tit. But goes to show how fickle football is, he is their most successful manager but doesn't look like that will save him.

Who do you think they will get in if he goes?

I've a mate who's a Hull fan and according to him Brown lost their support toward the end of last season.

Sometimes a job becomes too much or too big for an individual. Brown is totally out of his depth in the Premier League.

well maybe i was wrong i just thought as you could see the entire section of the hull fans that were stll there applaudinghim into the tunnell, but then again maybe the ones that had left are those who lost support for him

Or perhaps they were applauding him knowing that he's going to get the bullet, so they were showing their appreciation that he got them into the Prem and kept them there a season.

I know he's a bit of a dick, but I can't help feeling sorry for the guy myself. I mean, what do the punters at Hull expect?

Paul Jewell apparently. Big mate of the new chairman, who appointed him at Derby

He used to make me so angry when they had a good start last season, he was on every TV/Radio show shouting the odds-telling proven premiership managers where they went wrong. I knew then he was a chancer and would get found out, well a year later I have been proved right. Goodbye Phil!

I feel a bit sorry for him, he is out of his depth but then again Hull have not been going anywhere for the last 100 years. He got them in the top flight and the board should back him, the players and fans can sense that the board are not 100% behind him and it makes him an easy target to be made a scapegoat at every opportunity.

If Paul Jewell comes in then they will go down anyway

Hull City have done absolulty nothing in terms of football success, never won a cup in fact only ever been to the semi final once in their history. Since 2004 they have enjoyed a period off success resulting in them being in the top flight for the 1st time in their entire history.

Yeah but he's ruined all that, I think.

At least if Paul Jewell comes in some lucky middle aged woman from Hull will get to star in one of his homemade sex tapes draped on the bonnet of his Merc.

Pam I think it just shows how fickle the football fan is, Phil Brown is one of if not the most successful manager they have had in their history. He should have the full backing of the board and the fans imo.

Yes he has made some huge mistakes while in the prem but if they get rid of him and they go down never to return I am sure he will be hailed as a legend.
