Willy pisses all over Hart in terms of distribution

This is the difference.

I am quite sure that we will score goals directly attributable to Willy's distribution. I don't think we can say the same about Joe. That's not to say that Joe won't start the season. He certainly deserves that.

Nevertheless you can tell Willy hasn't come to the club to sit on the bench. He is ambitious and wants to be número uno.

What I've seen pre season Willy collects the ball, sees a team mate breaking and calling for the ball and Willy throws or kicks it to him accurately. Simple but so effective up to now, Joe needs to learn this skill.

I think it was a question of reach for the 1st and 3rd goals - Hart is around 4in taller which probably means extra reach in his arms so he may have got a hand on both those shots. Nothing Willy could do about the 2nd goal.

Joe wouldn't have saved the first. The bottom corners - like most Keepers - are his Achilles heel (e..g. Goal 4 Italy in W C and 3 -2 defeat 2 rags a couple of seasons ago and Real equaliser to name just a few). Distribution still an issue despite the hard work Hart is putting into training

joe may have saved a couple, but we can never tell, he doesnt fill me with confidence on that performance, time will tell i guess, but dont think you can judge the guy on a friendlies, lets see when he brings his A game to the table
