I took it from the Beebs website last night on Football News for today. I seem to remember reading about it a while ago but had forgotten about it.I could have swore this was already a done deal about a month ago?
I couldn't be arsed replying to them any more, let them stew. The number of posters on blue moon who seems to wallow in a pit of negativity is amazing. It's like they actually enjoy being miserable.
Quite let write off a kid at the age of 15, all signings have a risk, the younger the more difficult it is to predict. The number of posters on blue moon who seems to wallow in a pit of negativity is amazing. It's like they actually enjoy being miserable.
Can't see one negative post on here. I see one realistic post. I see a couple of positive posts. I see some squid related jokes.
You don't think someone saying that a 15 year old will "never get a sniff" of the first team when he's watched exactly 0 footage of him is negative?
He could be the next Messi for all they know. He's not, but he could have been.
I don't think it's overtly negative. I can't speak for him, but we've seen enough over the past 10 years to know how many get through the academy and into our first team squad for it to be a legitimate point. You don't think someone saying that a 15 year old will "never get a sniff" of the first team when he's watched exactly 0 footage of him is negative?

Thats a who's who of household names! Now tell me how many have played 30 games for City's first team. My point would be that it's a valid argument that @mexico1970 is making - and the same for you!I'd have to look this up but I would reckon in terms of being in the first team squad, City probably have one of the best records in the league. Not becoming regulars obviously, although we do have Foden, Lewis, O'Reilly and McAtee who all played minutes last year to greater or lesser degrees (and Bobb got injured), but we do promote a lot.
Here's the amount of debuts we've given to Academy guys since 2015 according to Wiki:
Pozo, Iheanacho, Manu García, Evans, Celina, Angeliño, Humphreys, Barker, Alexi García, Adarabioyo, Maffeo, Díaz, Foden, Lucas Nmecha, Dele-Bashiru, Gomes, Muric, Bernabé, Eric García, Poveda, Nmecha, Harwood-Bellis, Doyle, Delap, Palmer, Edozie, Knight, Egan-Riley, Mbete, Burns, Wilson-Esbrand, Lavia, McAtee, Lewis, Charles, Bobb, Hamilton, Susoho, Wright, O'Reilly, Braithwaite, Simpson-Pusey.
That's a fair amount, 42 in 10 years.

Unless you own a genuine crystal ball, that in no way "proves your point". It's purely your opinion which may or may not prove correct, that still won't actually prove you "right" even then. The post proved my point, this buy is for profit like it usually is.
Even the rags have bought the new Messi again recently.

You are right. I can't be arsed also. Yes let the desponds carry on wallowing in their negative pit.I couldn't be arsed replying to them any more, let them stew.
Ah, the infamous Trafford Tramps' assembly line of local lads born within 5 miles of "The Cliff".The post proved my point, this buy is for profit like it usually is.
