Cahill for City?

Just thought I'd throw this one out.. With Chelsea buying that new centre half from New York and hearing on the grapevine that Cahill is not happy at Chelsea. Would he be a good buy? Could he be the difference in a normally shambolic defence? I know a lot on here wouldn't want him(wasn't he a rag when he was a kid?) but I think hes a good solid defender with premier league winning experience so I'd have him like a shot!! If not him then who? We can't have Denayer back and we desperately need someone in my eyes..

We can though, at the end of the season. Paying big money to sign a defender from a rival just for 4 months is a bit of a waste imo

HJe`s a bigger upgrade on MD and Manga.

Better than Demi, but he'll be replaced by Denayer in the summer anyways. Cahill is just as error prone as Mangala but doesn't have his great physical traits.

But not now. We already have better options and Denayer is the one we should be focusing on.
