He's 20 years old, give him a fucking break.
we are trying to make progress, we are trying to finish 7th, we are trying to attract top players.
we can't afford ANY passengers and he was exactly that.
was theo walcott a passenger or how about Ronaldo his first couple of years at the scum?

I think he has potential, he likes to take people on, if he learns to use his upper body strength he'd be twice the player he is. Some fans do like to fuck the youngsters off before they have been given a chance.

I think he has good potential. Better than Benjani any day of the week. Look at a player he perhaps wants to model his game on: Drogba. He was quite a late developer.

Why do people start new threads this discussion was had about two weeks ago, and just because you say he is not good enough that it sell him, come on listen to yourself, you are talking about a young lad who is only twenty, and trying to settle into a new country, did you ever hear of players improving? Look the lad is raw but he has talent, think Drogba, same kind of player, big strong, powerful runner, these are qualities which are hard to find big phil will improve give him a chance, keep the faith!!!! CTID

I'm not sure if anyone else noticed but the ball did stay up front a lot more with caicedo up top, he does hold the ball up well and this gives time for other players to join him

yes, against west brom when everyone else is injured, villa made him look a dick.

nowhere near good enough for the prem, loan him out by all means but he should never start a game whilst the likes of ched sit on the bench, let alone when we sign more forwards in the summer.
me, i'd have him selling programmes, at best.

So we can't give any player any time to improve, we've got to sign the best players immediately. Good job that didn't apply to Ireland.

would love to but we have'nt got time, the owners wont wait much longer either.
we have to really push to get a place in europe next year, maybe win the eufa cup, we wont do that with the like of cascido who by your own admission needs time. he should go and do his time in league one or something.
it would help if he could actually play football, as it happens he can't, never will.

Caicedo is good and has the potential to be great. He is young, strong and can hold the ball up. His problem is lack of pace and experience. With more games he will become loads better, I hope. Evans has speed, talent and potential as well. Still it is too early to judge and I have not seen enough of him. Boijnov as well. Sturridge however I rate above those given what I have seen, hehas the chance to be a world class striker.

agreed about sturridge.

I think if you were to ask Villas central defenders how good he was, they would say very good. Being a CF is not just about what you do with your feet - he made a big difference in that his physical prescence made it difficult for vilaa to build from the back, and created space for Elano, SWP and Ireland to play behind him.

When he finds his touch he will be awesome i reckon, and could really make it the premiership as he has the stregth of two men.

why did he spend most of the Villa game on his arse then? Knocked over way too easily for me

So when SWP had that drive across goal that SI nearly prodded in...Big Phil was on his arse? FUCK OFF..he held off about 4 players with some quick feet to lay the ball off

Couple of weeks ago people were saying he was amazing with loads of potential because he scored a couple of goals.

'ckin hell, fickle fans in a shocker.
