One of many topics today, but my basic view on caicedo (not having a pop by any means) is that the lad is young yes and he still has a lot to learn but he hasn't looked the greatest really. I think he is a great finisher and a top quality player in the box no doubt about it, he also has the potential to be a drogba/goater type player considering he's young and he's shown he can score. I think his negatives are that he looks like he can't really be bothered and he doesn't look like he's putting that much effort in. I think if he got on with the fitness tewam and got a bit of pace about him he will be quality and he needs to grow up and maybe mature a bit on the football field, if you get me.
I do, however, think that people have been to quick to get on his back, like normal. This may be the reason that city never get a really talented player from a young age. A player like John Obi Mikel, Ronaldo (Tin hat, but needed to be included), Fabregas or Arjen Robben. We judge to quickly and are happy enough to start slating players after only seeing bits of them.

The thing is he cares more about the team/his career more than anyone else at the club, his reactions to the Hamburg goal and the goal today were so passionate. His main problem is the way he runs makes it look like hes jogging when he is infact sprinting.

Do you really think he will be leading our line next season?

Just like I said about Vass before Christmas, once a replacement(s) is/are brought in, he will become a squad player. The lad is doing fooking well all things considered.

I hope he'll go on loan to a good team because he deserves better than being part of a relegation battle that will destroy his confidence.

proved again today that he's a burger seller at best.

I dont often disagree with you Bill, but afraid I have to on that, he is young and still learning his trade. if we do keep him I think he will come good.

If we make some good signings in the summer then I'd like to see him go out on loan. He's still a young lad and has a lot to learn. I can't see him ever being a top player but he could be a useful squad man.
