I'll say that i wont buy black ops but probably will end up doing. Actually started playing MW2 online again recently, platinumed it ages ago then left it gathering dust for months but a combination of boredom and not having a job has got me playing it again.

Finally somebody who agrees with me, W@W was a broken game, should have never been released. Spawn system was rubbish, was designed for Xbox and ported over to the PS3 so there were all sorts of faults and failings. JD the community manager is a waste of space too.

I'm just hoping black ops is decent, I got MW2 because all my mates did, I didnt like it one bit and found myself back on COD4, I will probably buy black ops too as all my mates will no doubt. I'm also going to give it a go on the basis that it has a regional search facility, no more playing with yanks and lagging games.

I thought that at first, but I downloaded a trailer to my PS3 and watched it from that on my TV and its top quality. Think its the way it comes across on PC monitors and stuff. Looks better than MW2 on my TV anywho

I agree, certain trailers do look a bit ropey, but seeing as it's Treyfail I wouldnt be surprised if they have released HD video and expect normal PC screens to show it. Im surprised however that there hasn't been a TV advert for it, there was for MW2. Time is running out for an advert too, its out on Tuesday.
 
I wasn't impressed with MW2, thought it was too Americanised with all the extra points for killing people (whats wrong with 10!) and all the extra kill streak rewards, some of which were stupid, you couldn't escape being killed even in a building!

As for the new one, i'll probably buy it but i'm not as interested as I was in COD anymore! They never seem to improve the graphics or gameplay or anything they just put new maps on it, they must make absolutely loads on these games!
