One and All,
We are a matter of days away from one of the most significant games in recent times, it could be argued decades.
I am 37, wasn't allowed to go the the '81 semi final as I was 'too young' so for me this is a major game.
Our season does not depend on it however a win (irrespective of performance I might add) could be the springboard for us to go on and finish our season, securing a top 4 spot and a place in the FA Cup final. When did we last have as positive a season ?
Why 'Call to Arms' ? Well its simple, for 90 minutes (or 120mins or penalties whatever it takes) we need to be the most poassioante we have ever been. We have made noise in every stadium we have ever gone to, who could forget the noise in our last Derby at Maine Road ? This is an example of what we need to achieve on Saturday.
We need to put aside any reservations about Mancini, players, tactics etc and do what we are here to do...... back whoever wears OUR blue shirt, the players and managers will all be gone at some point but the club, our club will always remain and for this reason we need to be the ones to back our club into the Final.
I know some will comment on this in a negative way, all I am trying to do is focus our minds, especially after Monday night !
We ARE the pride of Manchester, lets prove it to any remaining doubters out there.
