Calling All Hughes Outers!!

I jump for joy and hope it can continue and Hughes can start getting the team playing well and consistently.

Those fans who think because we don't like the manager and we want him sacked that we want to continue losing and playing badly are seriously deluded there might be the odd sadistic fan who preferred us when we were skint and shit, but I'd go as far and say there one in a million...well 100k ;)

I'd be the first in line to eat humble pie if he manages to turn it around but at the same time if this form continues and eventully the owners and vast majority want him gone too they should do the same.

Loyality is a thing to be admired but not blindly.

Arsenal will mean nothing as it will be their kids in the cup. I am only just in the Hughes out side. I was on the fence before the hull game. So if we win a few I will be back on the fence. Long term I don't think Hughes is right for us. I am not sure though about short term.

We must remember...if things go from bad to worse then everyone will be a Hughes outer..
If it get's that bad I will welcome the new outers with open arms..

Not to sure if the present outers would be welcomed back by the inners if it all goes right..

Personally I dont give a hoot.

We might not of won for 7 games but we havent lost either, and garanteed every other season we would of lost them games, we are going through a bad patch and for some reason we are low in confidence but that will change soon and we will start to perform like we did at the start of the season, what would be the point of getting rid of hughes ? no manager for weeks and then we would have to start all over again new manager new signings new staff POINTLESS if you ask me we should judge him at the end of the season and if we havent acheived whats expected THEN and only then do we want a new manager. We look the best team since ive ever watched city in my 20 years of following them have faith in hughes just like the OWNERS obviosly do, because beleive you me if are owners wanted a new manager they would go and get 1 just like they have with players

Now, I am a Hughes outer.

But what will we do if we beat Arsenal and Cheslea?
We cant say he's a shit manager if we go on a big run of wins. And we will be singled out.

So, what happens to us?

Welcome to the club first of all. Expect lots of abuse for your opinion from the Hughes inners though.

If Hughes turns all this around, then you swallow your pride and admit you were wrong, but the facts will always show what a torrid time him and his team have gone through and that the outers had a right to doubt his ability.

As for the Arsenal and Chelsea game, if we beat Arsenal it has to be remembered that we have beaten a reserve/youth team, not the Arsenal team that we beat when things were looking rosy.

Also, Chelsea, the way we are playing at the moment i'd take a draw ;)

Well said...All I want is for my beloved football club is success..Maybe im a bit blinkered in my wish for Mark hughes to go but what other options do I have ?? keep hoping for it all to turn out rosey ?? Ive been doing that all my life..

I expected more with the finances and players we have tbh.. the finances cannot be questioned..the players reputation and skill cannot be questioned..

The weakest link is the reputation of the manager...Wales & Blackburn !! ( no offence intended to any welsh Blues) Success as a Wales manager should be at least euro qualification... which never happened.

Blackburn....did an ok midtable job with limited funds..

Manchester City....seems hes doing the same as Blackburn but with unlimited funds..

Thats my argument.. And I love this club.

Here's me thinking City was the club, does your club have a leader btw.

Seeing as the extremer elements of your "club"infest practically every thread on the fuckin board they deserve abuse...or don't you think they do.

Hughes is clearly not the answer, he doesn't command the dressing room and for the last 5 post match comments he says "We will go back to the training ground and get it right." How long can he take, we need a world class maanger and Hughes is definitelt not that, he is a mid table manager at best. I say Mourinho or Hiddink both excellent managers who have won league titles and people players respect.
