Calling any Widnes/Warrington/Runcorn etc Blues

Ok sound pal, there are a couple of others that I know that arent on facebook, so i'll make a note and keep an eye on the numbers, it is looking "decent" though

It's virtually in the centre of Warrington now. It could not possibly be any easier to get to if you had to hand pick a venue on a map. :-)

You are not likely to get any members from Warrington, so I would personally suggest that you look at Widnes, Runcorn and maybe out to St. Helens one way or Frodsham, Helsby etc, the other.

Is someone trying to stir something? Shame on you

Yeah, we were initially thinking just Widnes but then thought others may be interested. They are the areas we have been thinking, its just in case, for whatever reason, people from the likes of Cuerdley or Penketh feel it would be easier for them in Widnes, we dont want to step on anyones toes though

We have now scheduled our initial meeting for the first Monday in June. We went to Swinton last night and had a chat with a few of their guys, who couldnt do enough to help us, especially Claire who has sent us a lot of info and was even more help in person, so thanks for all of your help there and that should stand us in good sted for setting up our Club.

I was born in Widnes Royal Infirmary, Lancashire (is it still there?) as we lived in Penketh at the time I was born.
The only other time i have been in the town is to see The Stone Roses at Spike Island!
But Widnes is proudly on my passport!

Our first meeting is to be held this evening.

The interest has been far more than we expected so far with over 35 people expected for tonights meeting.
