£5m up front, could rise to £8m. A pretty low fee ultimately but with the very reasonable buy-back clause it could be useful in the end. With Ake maybe moving on, I thought City might try and hold onto Doyle for another week or so just in case as a HG option.

Had an operation on it fairly recently as I understood it.I checked before posting - thought he'd had achilles surgery and was on his way back
Seems like no one was really in for him.Seems very very low for a young lad that's already got over 100 appearances in the championship.
Looking at the most expensive championship signings it's only £16m though. Hopefully does well and we can get a bit of that 25%
A shame but a good deal for us and him.

Seems quite a low fee in comparison to say Taylor Harwood Bellis but it is an exciting move for him and I certainly understand why he moved there. Wrexham are certainly box office at the moment.

There were tons of clubs in for him. A few in Germany too. My mate daughter is good friends with him.
He probably wanted to stay local in the end. Or they've offered him a very decent wage there

I actually wonder if it's Disney that's put the money in using them as a front ?Why is it ? Just because they're Hollywood stars why is it different, they've clearly pumped a lot of their money into the club, they also seem to have a good guy running things day to day in Williamson, who has had various roles across global football.
