He wasn't "charged" just arrested, and bailed to a later date, no doubt whilst the CPS decide whether to charge or not.

His name dragged through the papers, she remains unnamed. He stood to lose everything, she lost fuck all. There's a special place in hell for a woman who could do that to a fella.

I know a policeman who told me that about 80% of rape accusations are made up. Yet there's a major rush to jump to conclusions that a man is guilty.
