Camping

Nah, not for me. Hotel overlooking a beach is my idea of a holiday but each to their own.

Thank you Bear Grylls
That wanker was caught cheating, he was doing an really wild could be so dangerous trek only to get caught going to a hotel for the night
@Blue Mist and his entourage again ?
Too right, if I'm up, everybody's up and why should I tidy up ? Just because they are too tight to employ bin men, not my problem. Yokels

I love camping, wild camping especially. Been using a trusty Berghaus 2 man ridge tent for years now, a tad heavy on my rucksack (with rest of kit) but reliable and roomy. Last time i got out was first lockdown when i camped on the moors for 3 nights, was bliss. No TV covid news, no radio and limited internet. Took enough food and water, 4 tins of beer and a bit of weed. Chilling to decent music away from it all, i recommend it.

I bought this last year, Robens 1 man Starlight. Not used it yet but it looks a nice bit of kit. I'll take half the £180 i paid for it, PM me if interested.

This was my home all last week
What happened to all the trees?

Years ago I went to the cairngorms and wild camped under Ben Macdui which I climbed whilst there. Now Scotland is wild camping, brilliant
