Can Aguero, Balo and Tevez be in the same starting 11?

There's not a tackler in that team beyond the back four, Tolm, let alone the two that you really need to impose yourself. Teams would pass right through the middle.

The only way you could squeeze those three in a team would be:

........De Jong........Barry/Ya Ya............

Aguero.........Silva.............Balotelli

...................Tevez................

I haven't seen the stats for % wins but I would imagine it is lower when De Jong plays?

Can someone provide me stats and confirm?

The reason I'd go De Jong in that team is because it is so attacking. He doesn't have anything like the creativity of Ya Ya, or even Barry, but he has the bite you might need in front of the back 4.

Absolutely no need for Nasri in any line up.

Not sure Tevez and Aguero can link up well together. As far as I am aware Argentina found it difficult to incorporate both.

Having said that if I had to play the 3 of them, I'd play Tevez furthest forward. Don't like him when he's cluttering up the midfield. He also keeps centre backs honest with his hard work.

So Balotelli left and maybe Aguero in the hole.

de Jong Yaya
Silva Aguero Balotelli
Tevez

True, of the De Jong of recent years. This De Jong doesn't actually seem to do that anymore. When we are being countered against, he is usually running back with everyone else when in days gone by he'd mop them up.

I'd have Milner in there. He doesn't have the ball playing ability of Barry but has more bite and tenacity. Plenty of players ahead of him for ball playing.

Amen brother. I've believed it all season.

Seconded.... we seem to be 'accomodating' Nasri and Bobby should admit defeat with this one and let him return to his 'first love' as it just aint working for him here.

On the NDJ debate, if we are indeed to go out all guns blazing now (which we should be doing IMHO) and attempt to win all remaining games, we need the defensive cover that Nigel brings which we dont have when Milner (whom i rate highly btw) is in the side. Gaz Baz is just off the pace a little right now, but we have typically played better with his balance on the LH side. I personally ould play Millner right down the middle in a box-to-box role, but then who drops out??

Don't know about you DD, but I'd bring AJ on before Nasri. While he does drift in and out of games, he invariably makes an impact, especially at home. Plenty of goals and assists this season.

couldn't agree more fella.

For al his faults, AJ is always a danger, always a threat. Nasri just isn't. It was ridicous he wasn't brought on much earlier on Sunday.

I don't think AJ should start every game, some are better for Milner in that role. But I'd go with one of those two ahead of Nasri every time.
