From a City point of view I enjoyed Rodney Marshes, Colin Bells wasn't all that interesting a read but being the gentleman he is I wasn't expecting scandal.
But for me Mike Doyles (Blue Blood) is a great read. His love for City pours out from page one and is a fantastic book if you want to indulge yourself in love for MCFC.
Doyle's is a very honest account, and he doesn't spare himself when describing the "difficult" times when battling the booze.
His hatred of all things rag shines through too.
While not technically an autobiography, 'The Greatest Footballer You Never Saw', Guigsy's collection of anecdotes about the great Robin Friday, is well worth hunting down. An honest and heartfelt account of a man truly worthy of the title 'troubled genius'.
