Can someone tell me what "L" means on BBC Live text?

For the past couple years I have been trying to Figure out what the "L" means on the Live score during a game on the BBC etc. The smarties don't even have a damn legend to use, so you have to figure it our on your own I guess but for the life of me I can't see anything relative to "L" to mean a game is in progress.

Help anyone?
See the Finland vs Wales game on the right. Its in progress and they just have a "L" to signify that. What the hell does "L" mean?

It means that the score showing is the latest score, and that the game is still in progress.

Shows that the game is in progress. It is being played now. The game is currently underway, it has commenced and begun. The game is in full swing. They have kicked off. Both teams are in action at the moment....
