Can we do it?

Yesterday was the benchmark and if the performance matches for the majority of the remaining games we will win the league, of that im in no doubt. In touch come the first of Jan with a few more on board and we really are in it.

That said, top 4 and its mission accomplished.

I agree. I think it's unlikely we will see many repeats of the 1st half performance for a few reasons - a big one being Fulham's weakness - but it was very encouraging

Hard to believe we are just 3 points behind the leaders when in many games we have struggled. Suggests we can improve a lot, but Chelsea, Utd etc will probably be thinking the same thing.

Really only top 4? I think we can win it comfortably

after every win you lot come up with this sort of shit then we loose one game and your all crying for macini too be sacked sort it out

Footballs a passionate game. If you ask many of the people who come on here for the ten greatest and worst moments of their lives you can bet that City will figure in there somewhere. With some people multiple times. Cut everyone some slack. Everyone actually wants the same thing just differing opinions on how we get there and this is a forum not a party political broadcast where eveyone has to hold the party line.

As for the ops question. Of the top 6 we look the only team almost certain to improve. If we concentrate on winning games then a resounding yes from me.

The transfer window, what Chelsea and United Get.
And still if Tevez and Silva are availible every game will tell our chances.

Read my post again mate please :-)

i think City ATM isnt ready for win the title. despite the apparence of a large squad the real problem is the lack of depth in strenght , too many of the so called reserve being just passengers who dont offer to the manager an effective alternative for rotation or/and injuries . decisive will be january tranfer window because there are some players where City lack of a credible (long term) backup

If we are in touch at Christmas and Bobby manages to land his targets in the window then i will be very confident of going on and pushing for the title.
