Can we have a best of RAWK and Rag Caf thread?

I still feel like I've been violated by an ape whilst watching my family murdered, before the ape raids my fridge for my beer. The whole 'we go again' thing could have been iconic, a rallying call to arms to be ranked with the greatest.

Instead, it's a sickening reminder of how near we were, how we held our fate in our own hands, but threw it away.

Most of are not from Manchester so they don't really get the rivalry, it's a much better forum than RAWK, they are still bunch of self entitled knob heads mind you, I don' t really visit it to read anything positive about us, just like a Rag would not read here for anything positive about them on here

Seems like most of the 'Caf-ites are Irish or American.

RAWK has people from all over as well, but I think the culture of the clubs has everything to do with the divergence. I have actually thought a lot/too much about this lately, and for what little it is worth my theory is as follows:

rags have always pretty much been the schoolyard bully "GARRRRRR, WE HAVE MORE TROPHIES THAN YOU!!!!!"

So when you put a bully in his place he often shuts up and recognises his defeat. No trophy to lord over you = some grudging respect.

The dippers appear to be a bizarre sort of passive-aggressive cult revolving primarily around victimhood, paranoia, idol worship, and generalised nuttiness. Since they don't have the simple thing to grasp onto (TROPHIES) the whole cult aspect seems to be what will always really define them. This remains in place irrespective of results and thus most of them routinely come off as being utterly deranged no matter where they live.

I agree with all of this. I think we should ask them for their silver polish, since neither of them are in need of it and we have two trophies to maintain.

They have more need of our old turd polish. Maybe we could do a swap ;-)

RAWK:

Finally some sense.

City have been very unlucky with injuries this season, expect them to be a lot stronger next season. Ditto Arsenal. Chelsea will sort out their striker crisis and who knows united and spurs might sort themselves out.

Not that I'm not confident we'll improve come next season but we will need to improve significantly to challenge again and also compete in Europe. I have faith in Rodgers though and believe even without new signings we'd be stronger next season, this is only the beginning.
