For all the moaning wankers on here ( and there are loads ), can we set up a new forum called 'It was so much better when we were shit- but we paid £5 less'.

That way, those of us that have followed City through all the shit but enjoy where we are now, the players we have and are after, the big games and the plans for the stadium etc, and see how lucky we are compared to ticket prices paid at other clubs.

Meanwhile all the fucking tools moaning about £5 increases can have a forum all to themselves where they can chat about the great old days when we were shit and you got fuck all for your money, shit football, and Swales, Mackintosh etc !

I really do give up on this website. I'm embarrassed to be a City fan when connected to some of the fucking morons that have come on here this week.

Some people want the club to be chasing Torres, but want to pay £5 to see him. Fucking wise up

I am probably 90% in favor - my only comlaint is that there is a limited availability of U16's tickets because the fact that they and their parents will only be able to sit in a defined area with a pre determined number of seats. I guess what i am saying is that some families will not get the seats in the family area instead they will have to pay the higher prices in other parts of the ground.

Or the kids will just have to watch on TV.

Yay team.

The op is spot on, someone I was speaking to the other day was complaining about the increases, I said " get real " we can't pay a hundred grand a week to say tevez and charge 380 quid for season tickets. It just doesn't add up.
As it happens we will probably be watching players at 200 grand very soon.

As in all walks of life you get what you pay for.

Those who think that we earn in ticket sales has any bearing on the type of player we can attract and pay are deluding themselves think about

No of Fans x Season Ticket Prices = Income 47,000 x 500 = 23.5m
No of players x annual salary = Outgoings 26 x 5.2m =135.2m

The peeople moaning arent maoning about the supposed 5% increase when in many cases the increase is over 35% and for some the increase will be 100% the issue is as people in the East stand are coming to realise that they may be forced to move next year due to a significant increase in prices and adults in the North stand and those with families are having to relocate this year.

The problem is where to relocate too it would appear the gods are where many are going to end up and I for one do not want to watch 2 teams through a pair of binoculars

the money city took from season tickets last season didnt cover the cost of the roque santa cruz signing.

so unless we start charging astronomical sums of money, ticket money will make up only a small % of a clubs revenue.

i think most people accept city are quite fairly priced, but to my mind they havnt handled their proposals very well, and the 250 quid season ticket lacks transparency, ie how many are they going to be, and who gets them.

my personal arguement is very simple, why are my combined cost of season tickets increased to the tune of 100 quid (ie family), and my increase will subsidise a better off single blokes 250 quid bargain.

i have no problem with city operating on an even keel, but if there are cheaper tickets to be had, then share that saving with everyone, then no-one can moan, or am i missing the point.

I think all the homeless in the north stand should get the £250 seats
(That this thread taken over)

The one thing that epitomises MANUre, FCMANUre, Yeller and Green Urine Machine lemmings seems to be the notion that they are entitled to win each competition they enter and only pay 1960 prices for the privilege. It's what me Mum used to call "Cake and ha'penny! They want the lot.

Look at the Hamburg ticket fiasco. Folk getting tickets who hadn't been anywhere near from the day of their birth, and simply taking advantage of the price to watch a bloody good game of football.

There are a substantial group of folk like this, the biggest group being MPs, who simply want palatial accomodation, the jet set trappings, movement about the earth's surface in Rolls-Royce splendour, all for a quid.

I think the thing is the club stated that the fans are the lifeblood at the club and that City would do things differently to the other clubs. As I have said above what the club takes in revenue from ticket sales wouldnt pay 5 players wages therefore has little or no impact on the overall ncome of the club.

That does not mean I want to get in for free but I wish people would stop talking about a 5% increase. That is the average increase after allowing for the fact that they are introducing a £250 season ticket.

Last year the North stand adult price was £365 this year its £405 this represents an increase of 11%. Yes I am fully aware that the club is moving forward no I have no problems with increases but this is 3 times the rate of inflation and from a club that I said would do things differently.

No I do not expect free everything the club is a business etc etc however the club have announced major changes which will have an impact on the supporters and little to no consultation has been offered to discuss these changes.

For instance the relocation of the North stand these supporters are faced with an increase of 35% on their ticket prices and have no idea where they are sitting next year.

The East stand know that they are going to be faced with a major hike in their prices next year as they are abe to receive a "better experience" but if they cabt afford or dont want this then they will have to move to seats unknown

What I am disappointed about is that just as the club is on the verge of great things it has potentially taken decisions that may alienate a large number of the supporters who have been at the very heart of the club through its difficult times.

We have always mocked the United fans as being the "prawn sarnie" brigade well it would appear next year that is what we are going to become

People say ticket prices will go up by on average 6% next year, but seem to forget they went DOWN on average 7% this year from last.

So really, tickets are at 98.58% of what they were 2 years ago, and you get to see Tevez and Ade play instead of Ball and Benjani.

People have opinions, you will never stop people having a whinge about this and that. There seems to be alot of people on here moaning about people moaning, it is getting a little bit tedious with respect to the price rises at the moment in my opinion. Anyway I'm off down to Arsenal now, will be back tomorrow to have a whine about someone elses opinion!!!
