Utd are in transformation, Jones, Smalling, Cleverly, De Gea ect, have had to bring back Scholes, and play Giggs more than they'd like. Ferdinand past his best and Vidic out for most of the season, they should've been there for the taking this time, next year they will be much better, will we?

With Mancini it is possible but not guaranteed at all.

We saw that he can throw a 5 point lead away and turn it into a minus 10 point finish.

If next year we will be the follower team, and will be 5 points under United or anyone else it is hard to imagine how will Mancini motivate the players and show them a certain mentality to fight for it if we lost it this year from 5 points plus.

Also the away record is there which should improve a lot. There is no guarantee we will have the same fantastic home record again (Win 17-18 matches out of 19) so our away record needs to better with 8-10 points at least.

The only problem is that Mancini could improve our away record with 2-4 points from last this to this year and it is calculated with at least 4-6 more points from the 3 remaining away matches.

So 2-4 points improved from last season and we need another 8-10 points plus. No idea how will Mancini do that.

Absolutely no idea if I see the mistakes we made in away matches and how Mancini didnt correct them, had no idea how to correct them so we kept making the same mistakes mentally and tactically.

Mancini didnt see these mistakes and then it is horrible, or he saw these things but had no idea how to change it. As we saw no change in tactics from one shit away match to another he didnt really try at all.

So 6-8-10 points improving is needed in the away record. Also getting trough from CL group which can be tricky or Mancini as he is totally clueless in CL (as his track record shows) and with City he surely will get another death group.

So yes we can win it next year, but Mancini needs to change a lot of things. Do I trust him? Just as much as he trusts Balotelli.

Depends if we can hang onto Aguero and Silva. They may not want to hang around this current mess any longer. Besides that its clear we're going to need another rebuild and get rid of some deadwood. (cant be bothered to list them you know who they are). The rags, Chelsea, arsenal, Spurs will all be in the market for top players so they will be stronger. My fear is that this was our best chance to win it and we fucked up badly.

edited for its knee jerk stupidity.
