Can we win it next year?

We could of won it this year and next year we will only improve. Bit of a stupid question really...

No guarantee on that. We have gone backwards since January. Why are you so sure that wont continue?

A bit of width and pace and we would have won it this year. We only need two or three additions to the strongest XI. It's the back-up players that need selling and replacing. The trouble being that they were bought for top dollar.

Depends if we can hang onto Aguero and Silva. They may not want to hang around this current mess any longer. Besides that its clear we're going to need another rebuild and get rid of some deadwood. (cant be bothered to list them you know who they are). The rags, Chelsea, arsenal, Spurs will all be in the market for top players so they will be stronger. My fear is that this was our best chance to win it and we fucked up badly.

At the start of the season did you honestly expect us to win it this year? Only because we were on fire in the first half of the season and shit all over them in the 6-1 were expectations raised.

I predicted 2nd, we got 2nd. Roll on next season and champions!

Not as we are atm - a team with no purpose, vision, belief, confidence and totally lacking in leadership and ideas off the pitch

Sorry - just can´t see how it´s going to change. If someone can enlighten me as to how it might change please feel free

Stop reading the sun and listening to talkshite

We can win it this season if we all believe and get behind our team

Get close to them and put the shits up the red bastards.

See how they react when they,re put under a bit of pressure

They will not win their last six games. Win the derby and see if they have any bollocks

Can't believe that most of us seem to be packing it in

Come on you blue fuckers! If we don't believe what chance do the players have

Of course we can win it next season. There has to be a couple of changes to the squad moving the dead wood out of the club and replacing with better players.

In my view on the way out would be.
Kolo Toure - Passed his sell by date time to move him on.
Gareth Barry - Getting on and isnt good enough for the first team spot never mind a squad spot if we are to go to the next level. As long as Barry is at our club we will not win the title in my view. He isnt dynamic enough for our midfield and hopefully we replace with a more dynamic midfielder.
Adebayor - Hopefully Spurs takes him off our hands.
Kolarov - a iffy 1 for me a good squad player but lacking speed and his defending isnt that good a averager player at best.

The maybes.
Tevez / Dzeko / Mario it all depends on who is the manager come next season if its Mancini then Tevez will be on his way. And a huge question mark over the others. If Mancini is gone Mario will be on his way the first out the door back to Milan. Tevez may well end up staying and Dzeko will be in limbo.
AJ - Not good enough to be a first team starter squad player yes. Sadly if we sign a top class winger AJ might be on his way hasnt gone to the next level and progessed.

Coming into the team.
A comanding centre defender to play beside Kompany instead of what is here at the moment.
A Xavi Alonso type of midfielder who can pass and set a good tempo to the team.
A forward to replace the out going forwards that move on.

I think this season every top club has been extremely weak. The fact that we couldn't win it this year (assuming we don't) will make me kind of pessimistic about next season.

Arsenal have done great with a very average side helped by Robin Van Persie's outstanding form. They already seem to be looking to strengthen with the rumoured signing of Lucas Podolski. I think they'll challenge next season. Wenger is just one of the best managers around, he seems incapable of underachieving but this trophy drought is an actual curse on them. I reckon their season next year will be just like the one next year. Challenge convincgly for a few months and then tail off as the belief wanes. Like always. I don't think Spurs will challenge and even if they do they will fall off the wagon sooner or later. I still am in shock that they had 3rd place sown up all season long and now are struggling to hold onto to third. Chelsea, like us, no matter what will strengthen. But I don't see them challenging too much next season. I see them struggling. They've played some of the crappest football i've seen from anyone this season. They look like they need about 8 players. While we like to laugh at Liverpool now, they will strengthen greatly in the summer. I don't like saying it but assuming that they'll just continue signing shit British players even though it's failed terribly is naive to say the least. They shipped out about 18 players in the summer and brought in 7. Not very well tbh. I'm not saying they'll challenge for the title. I really doubt that. But they will make top4. There's no point talking about United. Even if they sell all of their players and replace them all they will still challenge with Baconface at the helm.

Saying all this, I think a lot of it depends on what goes on in the summer. I think we will win the league next season but It's more about whether we have that winning mentality then whether we have the quality. Which we do have, I mean the attack is nothing short of frightening and there is a lot of depth.

Sidenote: I think Dzeko needs selling.
