Can we win it now?

If we can win our next two games pressure goes back on the scum because we'll be 2 points clear of em! Plus some of the scum players will think that's that now it's going to be an easy run in to winning the league

No-one outside of City believed we could win it in 1968, but we did.

What worries me is that there seems to be less belief within City than back then, both fans and players seem well, subdued. It's still in our hands, and we need to go out there and be the terrifying force we were at the start of the season.

Great post Brian - At the same stage of the season, we seemed to have less chance of winning in 1968 than we do now. The main difference then was that I didn't know one City fan who didn't think we'd win it. Even when the odds apparently favoured the rags, i.e. them at home, us away for final fixture, we still took 20,000+ fans to Newcastle - At a time when that was not an easy journey, unlike nowadays.

Keep your nerve young un's - Uncertainty in the stands can feed through to the players. The title can and will be ours come May.

as always heart says yes, head says no. but theres always next year if we dont, after 30 plus years i can wait a bit longer if needs be. we will be even stronger next year either way.
and for the glory hunters amongst us"fuck off" hmmm feel much better now.

If we win the next two games, yeah we can. I don't think it gets any tougher than Stoke away for us, they have been our nightmare away fixture so if we can beat Chelsea and end our hoodoo there, there is hope. I do think we can beat Arsenal away or get at least 1pt which wouldn't be the end of the world. Newcastle away is another tough one.

If we get less than 4pts from Chelsea and Stoke it's all over I think.

Of course we can.

Alll we have to do is beat Chelsea. That's it. And we're only the point behind the rags.

Then next week at Stoke we do the same again. And we repeat that for the rest of the season.

Play our best team EVERY game. No resting. No rotation. No fucking compromises.

No sitting back holding on to a lead. No showboating. No tippy-tappy shit that is getting us nowhere.

Pace, power, direction, stamina and passion. The rags always seem to drag it out of themselves, no matter what they face. We have to be the same.

The one sticking point is the manager... can he adapt a side to meet the requirements of an English premiership title run-in?

It's shit or bust time for all concerned.

We can win it but it will be very, very difficult. We have to go out and win 9 out of 10 games which include United, Chelsea, Arsenal and Newcastle/Stoke. United have just won 8 and drew 1 of their last 9. We have to prove we can do that.
This is correct but i`ve lost a bit of faith in the players, especially in away games.I think it`s over........go on city, prove me wrong.

This pretty much sums it up. If we get 6 points from Chelsea and Stoke by just fucking going for it full bore, the belief could very well see us all the way over the line. Lose to Chelsea, and the lack of belief will see us lose. There would also be a good extra pressure on United seeing us come through those games unscathed, like we've had with them coming through their hard run. Don't think it will get a lot harder than our next two games, other than the Rags of course.

If we get red cards and dodgy penalties like the rags then yes but the answer of course is no!!
