Can we win the PL 2010/11...

We will finish in the top three next season, I'm so sure (don't know why) that I'm
putting £100 on it. Will we finish top ? Anything is possible. We won't

No, as proved this last season, we're still some way from challenging the top sides and no matter who we bring in this summer it takes time to build a team and not just a group of individuals.
I think we'll be doing well if we finish 4th

if we hadn't had those run of draws against teams that we said we would have beaten, we would have been in comfortable 3rd in the title race. There were two instances in bluemoon when we were confident in getting almost maximum points from a game of 6, say. Never did happen. So, I say this year, one game at a time.

Also, another poster brought this up. If 2012 armageddon happens, will it be before or after we lift the cup? what would happen to the remaining fixtures? Will we have to do replay in the afterlife?

It doesn't depend on chelski , the rags spuds or the arse or any form of the media . Our own enemy is ourselves boys if we dnt win the title it will be down to our own mistakes but I could honestly see us pushing them all the way for the title . but what we have to cut out is the draws to average teams away and at home then we will certainly be a force to be reckoned with .

Can we f*ckers like. Don't be daft. 4th will be an outstanding achievement, no matter how much we spend this summer. Small steps. Rome wasn't built in a day.

To win the league we'll need to build a team. We've not done that yet. We've built a squad, but it'll come.

With the amount we've spent I'm afraid this is bollocks.

4th is minimum requirement next season.

the owners and mancini have all ready set there stall out for at least having a go at winning the title next season and if all targets are meet on the player side that the club want then i cant see why we wont have a bloody good go at it.

take everything into account from last season for instance,

8 consecutive draws(club record)
upheaval with 2 managers
addy 2 bans and african nations shooting
tevez injury and wife having baby
a total lack of anything in midfield
defense having to be sorted

with all this going on we still managed to finish 3 points off 4th place so next season baring all that happening again why not?

Top 4 is a must and I can see us getting 3rd at best. However I think we will close the gap between the top 2 and I can see us challenging for the title the season after next.

In theory all 20 teams in the prem league can win it, in practice it has been shown that those teams that constantly invest in their squads are more likely to win it than those who don't. We invested heavily in our squad last year and improved from 10th place to fifth, we close the gap between ourselves and the champions from a whooping 40 points to 18. I am hoping that with a similar investment this year that gap will close even further and that our position at the end of the season will be again higher than it was last year. To win the thing not sure but to be in the race will be good enough for me at the moment.
