No male over the age of about 10 should wear replica shirts at the match or anywhere else - it's a silly custom that started at about the same time as the nouveau fan phenomenon, about 1990.

As for women, it doesn't really matter. They are prone to following to silly clothing fashions in every area of their lives, and some pretty young women look very nice in them which is more than can be said for any man. They usually look sad, ridiculous or both.
Bollocks like.

I wear mine to work out in and at match day (most anyway) or when sitting around the gaff, best thing for them really.

The players and small boys can wear them. Other males shouldn't and didn't until some marketing bloke realised that many gormless types could be persuaded to part with £40 for a polyester shirt of dubious quality.

Hundreds of less than lithe adult male football fans stuffed into tight jeans and bursting out of XXXL replica shirts are not a pleasant sight on match day.

No complaints from me

I will be so offended if you post more pictures of lovely lasses in tight football shirts..

Please offend me....
