All those, plus I had the pleasure of watching the greatest player of my generation (Messi) completely decimate a very good team.

Beat me to it. Apart from the first half of Burnley, ^this^ was the highlight of the week for me, far more so than watching Man Utd play shite football.

City thrashing Burnley to go 4th....

Cos spurs lost
Liverpool dropped points too.
utd lost to Chelsea
utd got knocked out of the Chumps League - on away goals (what a shite way to go out!!)

I've had a good few days/drinks I can tell you!!

Looking today at the league tables, it actually hit home...

CITY are 4th in the Premiership and only 6 games to go.

This really could be reality!!

Now then.........

City thrashing Brum
Liverpool dropping points...... AGAIN!!
spuds having to play extra time ahead of their midweek game
utd dropping points (irrelevant directly in our pursuit of 4th place, but always funny!!)

Bestowed my magnificent presence in the COMS for the first time in a couple of year today. I have to say, the contrast in quality between now and then is unbelievable, i know it's probably one of the best we've played this season but still. I hope those who get to attend regularly truly appreciate being blessed with watching these guys play week in week out, compared to the shite i've endured in the past (not just City) this was of immeasurably higher quality.

Given - not much to do, but looked solid enough (apart from one flap at a cross), seems to have developed a decent understanding with the centre-backs.

Ned - brilliant from him, right-back spot his to keep if he carries on like that, Zab and Micah better watch out.

Toure - bit of an enigma for me, generally solid, some brilliant play, then the odd lapse that can be seriously costly

Kompany - apart from the odd sclaffed clearance, he's getting better and better, got everything you need to be a top central-defender.

Garrido - good guy and i like him, but he was on a lower level to the rest of the City players today, some potential there, but he'll have to realise it quickly to not get left behind

De Jong - solid enough, did his bit in keeping possession and helping us dominate the match, without being particularly incisive. Think he might have been playing within himself to make sure of no booking? Totally outshone by:

Barry - outstanding, very clever player, his positioning and reading of the game is of the highest quality, always gets his body between the oppo and the ball. Might not be an all action, exciting box to box player, but he is seriously classy.

Tevez + Ade - to have these two firing in the same team at the same time is brilliant, look almost unstoppable, if they keep that level of performance up then we'll finish 4th

Bellamy + Johnson - defenders scared shitless of them, will always create chances, however as good as they are the final ball and finishing tends to be a bit erratic, then again same applies for most wide players, so can't really complain.

Mancini - this guy has worked wonders, we are a serious team now, organised, disciplined, we look mentally strong and switched on, and are starting to play classy football too.

MOM - between Ned, Ade and Barry, i can't really separate them.
