Can I remind everyone of item 8 of the Code of Conduct

8. Anything that is construed as racist, homophobic or libellous will be deleted and you will be warned/banned.

Cheers
Good God, if that was rule was applied as rigidly to the rest of the board as it on here then you'd have to at least treble the number of mods.

We do apply this rule, and the majority of posters adhere to it

It's not up for debate

Just a general observation but why do you need to organise supporters groups based around sexual orientation?

We could ask the same question about why say fallowfield blues? ( of which Im a member though live in rusholme but they are a good group and rusholme supporters never responded to my enquiries ) so one for the philosophers amongst us mainly because its what people identify and feel comfortable and so far the response from MCFC fans has been pretty positive so think theres a need out there

I personally think that real integration, where we dont need separate groups for those who suffer discrimination, would be ideal. But the onus is definitely not on the LGBT community to integrate, and just accept the prejudice that they experience. Once all the discrimination stops then none of this will be necesarry, just like its not necesarry to have a straight supporters group.

On a totally separate subject, has David Silva ever had a girlfriend?

Based on that logic, why don't we have separate supporters groups for every collection of people who feel themselves to be discriminated against?

The onus definitely is on people to integrate. We all come together to support City. Leave your prejudices, sensitivities, proclivities and politics at the door. I don't want to acknowledge gay, straight, bi, fucking tri ans vesite, I shag rabbits, the pope or whatever rights at a football match. I just don't care.

I can't decide which one I fancy the most.

Should we talk about LGBT rights in Abu Dhabi just to spice up the thread? ;)
