Alot of the media are portraying cuntana as a bit of a hero because he was fighting hooliganism and they say that supporters are out of order for abusing players.
Well it's a good job referees don't act in the same manner as the seagul man

A liar. A hypocrite. A cowardly shithouse of the very worst kind.
Some facts:
1. He says he 'kicked a hooligan'. He didn't. He committed a criminal assault on a spectator. The victim was one of an entire stand of Palace fans mocking him for being sent off for, guess what, being violent by kicking out at an opponent.
The man may have been abusive but so were thousands of others. He was not violent, he was not threatening and he posed no danger, immediate or otherwise, to Cantona.
In fact, this 'hooligan' was a tubby, prematurely balding little oddball who went to the game alone, dressed in his usual match attire of slacks, a leather bomber jacket, white school shirt and A CRYSTAL PALACE CLUB TIE!!!
Not exactly Green Street.
There was only one hooligan involved and he was French.
2: He says he attacked the bloke because he insulted his mother and he could not allow such a slight to go unpunished. Utter fucking bollocks but typically self-serving from this pitiful buffoon.
He will have heard far worse from The Kippax and the Kops at Liverpool and especially Leeds. Did he ever have the balls to jump the wall at any of these places? Of course not, they would still be looking for his remains now.
The main stand at the relatively serene Selhurst Park, though? More like the level of this bully. And we all know bullies are cowards deep down. Cantona a bigger coward than most.
3. To say he did this for the fans is again laughably self-serving bullshit. He was unprofessional in getting himself sent off, letting down his club, his team and his fans. He then compounded that tenfold.
Cantona has never done anything for anyone except Cantona. And that includes robbing the families of the Munich disaster victims with his financial demands for himself and his preposterous 'entourage' before he would agree to play in the fundraising match at the swamp.
4. A spectator who carried out a similar assault in an English stadium would have bwen looking at a banning order from all grounds of between three and five years, and probably two years in prison. Cantona got off very, very lightly in comparison. But still the rags moaned like bitches.
5. The BBC should be ashamed of allowing a convicted violent criminal of boasting about and glorifying his crimes. Especially as there appears to be no journalistic challenge or scrutiny.
If they paid him a fee, they may well be in breach of industry codes of practice.
6. Just more rag lies dressed up as fake myths.
But as we have seen in the last seven days, being lying, hypocritical apologists for cowardice and thuggery by their players is in their DNA

The one thing at the foremost of Cantona's mind at that moment: Eric Cantona.

What a load of bollocks, he lost it, plain and simple. Rag twats were the furthest thing from his mind at that particular moment.

He hopes with the passage of time the most blatant piece of thuggery ever seen on a footy ground and perpetrated by a player on a spectator can enter the realms of heroic folklore. Allus thought that Cuntona was just another piece of dross in a long line of Rag asylum fodder.

You just have to love cantona. Just because he played for them, doesnt mean he isnt fucking awesome!
